The Lair is an entertainment & leisure provider of e-sport (video gaming), gaming for people between the ages of 18-35 years. The business is to create an environment where youths who are also gamers can come together and interact, socialize, network and compete to be the best in whatever genre they fancy with respect to the gaming platform of their choice (PS4,Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 etc). Aiming to offer an entertaining and relaxing experience for by creating a home away from home.
We were tasked with creating a brand identity for a brand entering into a relatively untapped section of the entertainment industry in Nigeria. The brand needed a strong identity to stand out and further convey their message of transforming gaming into mainstream media to their target audience.
Through our efforts we crafted a brand identity that captured the vigor and adrenaline associated with gaming. Using bright shades of lemon, green and blue as it’s primary colors and making use of them predominantly in the brand’s assets, whilst making use of strong imagery and illustrations of game controllers for the brand’s promotionals.
